Vivian Kensington from Legally Blonde

Vivian Kensington is a character in the 2001 movie Legally Blonde. She is a law student at Harvard University. She is engaged to Warner, proving his point of wanting a “serious” partner. Elle is astonished to see the ring on her finger – and even more so at her mean, deceitful attitude. Over time, Vivian softens, realizing that she misjudged both Elle and Warner. At the end of the movie, the two girls become friends.

Corn from Corn & Peg

In the Canadian kid’s animated series Corn & Peg, Corn is a goofy, sometimes shy, and sometimes clumsy blue unicorn. Along with his best friend Peg, he is a huge fan of the equine superhero Captain Thunderhoof, and has committed to doing good deeds throughout his life. While I did include a unicorn horn in this guide, I think that even without it, it still captures the spirit of Corn’s look.

Kim Pine from Scott Pilgrim

Kim Pine from Scott Pilgrim

This sarcastic and often misanthropic redhead from the Scott Pilgrim franchise is none other than Kim Pine. In the series, she acts as Sex Bomb-omb’s drummer, one of Scott’s ex-girlfriends, and a clerk at No-Account Video. While her appearance changes slightly between the graphic novel, video game, movie, etc., there is an overarching theme of giving her a track jacket, a pleated skirt, and sneakers. When in doubt, yell, “We are Sex Bomb-omb!” and that should give just the hint that someone needs to get who you are.

Mabel Tanaka from Hoppers

Mabel Tanaka from Hoppers

In the latest Pixar feature, Hoppers, Mabel Tanaka is a fiercely dedicated and sometimes hot-headed animal-lover who is dead set on saving the glade near her beloved deceased grandmother’s home in Beaverton. While Mabel’s character is not a forest ranger, her worn jeans and green utility jacket very much give the impression of a forest ranger or someone who works in that general field. While I didn’t include it in the costume above, one of my personal favorite aspects of her design are her mismatched socks – totally emblematic of someone who is constantly on the go. Even if they aren’t green and purple, go ahead and pull two non-matching socks from your own sock drawer to get the same effect!

nonny

Nonny from Bubble Guppies

Nonny is a young merman from the Nick Jr. series Bubble Guppies. Unlike others in the series Nonny is a bit more subdued and reserved, he keeps to himself but always enjoys sharing fun facts. He is voiced by voice actors: Eamon Pirruccello, Jet Jurgensmeyer and AJ Kane. I’ve put together a couple different outfits based on Nonny’s design, so take a look and get creative!

Sally is the daughter of another character named The Professor. When she and Flapjack first meet the boy is seemingly smitten, the same cannot be said of Sally. Although the two are different in their ways of fun they find they do eventually get along.

Odd Della Robbia from Code Lyoko

Odd Della Robbia from Code Lyoko

In the iconic 2000s French animated series Code Lyoko, Odd Della Robbia is the artsy, purple-loving comic relief of the Lyoko Warriors. He’s often seen with his hairless dog, Kiwi, or hanging out with his friends, Jeremy, Ulrich, and Yumi. While we love Odd’s feline-themed battle gear, his day-to-day Kadic Academy is just as recognizable while being much, much easier to pull together.
